Sign-up runs through GymMaster, which is the system the gym already uses for memberships, bookings and door access. You fill it in on your phone, and you can be training the same day.

If you would rather see the place first, come in and have a look around before you sign anything. Ring 0457 067 391 so someone is expecting you, or send a message and we will get back to you.

05 Questions

Joining, prices and contracts

Prices, joining, contracts, holds and cancelling.

How much is a gym membership in Home Hill?

Get Fit Burdekin is $18 a week on direct debit, with no lock-in contract. Paying in advance costs less: $70 for one month, $207 for three, $390 for six, or $750 for twelve, which works out $186 cheaper than paying weekly across the year. A one-off $50 set-up fee applies, or $15 if you are a Fitness Passport member. Every membership includes 24/7 access, your induction and group training sessions.

How do I join Get Fit Burdekin?

Join online through GymMaster. It takes a few minutes and you can be training the same day. If you would rather look at the place first, come in and see it, and sign up at the counter.

Am I locked into a contract?

No. There is no lock-in contract and no cancellation fee. You can cancel at any time, put your membership on hold for free, change to a different membership or update your details yourself in the GymMaster member portal.

Can I put my membership on hold?

Yes, at no charge. You set up the hold yourself in the GymMaster member portal, for example if you are away for work, on holiday or injured.

Do you accept Fitness Passport?

Yes. Get Fit Burdekin accepts Fitness Passport members, and the set-up fee for Fitness Passport members is $15 rather than the standard $50.

How old do you have to be to join?

24/7 access is available from 16, and anyone under 18 needs a parent or guardian to approve the membership. Between 13 and 15 you are welcome during staffed hours once a parent or guardian has completed the pre-screening, at $5 a visit. Both owners hold the accredited unit for instructing 13 to 17 year olds.

Can I use the gym without joining?

Yes. Scan the QR code on the front door and you can pay for a casual visit, including outside staffed hours. Ring 0457 067 391 first if you want to know the casual rate before you drive over.

Can I look around before I join?

Yes. Come in during staffed hours and walk the floor, or ring 0457 067 391 to arrange a time.
